Users in exchange 2003 can not see email address in GAL for migrated user.

Exchange 2007, Active Directory, GAL, Exchange migration

I have 700 users in my Forest that has Exchange 2003. I am migrating the user account and mailbox from Exchange 2003 Single Forest to Exchange 2007 Cross Forest.I have migrate the one users mailbox and user account From Exchange 2003 Forest to Exchange 2007 .
Migration is completed Successfully. I can Send and receive the mail from exchange 2003 forest to exchange 2007 Forest.

Now my problem is that After the migration,Users in exchange 2003 can not see email address in GAL for migrated user.

I have also tried to add a email contact in Active Directory on exchange 2003 forest for that user which i moved in Exchange 2007 and i rebuild the GAL several time. I can see mail contact when i go to properties of GAL and click on modify but outlook users is unable to see new contact in Address list

You mentioned migrating to a new forest. Does that also mean you have migrated the mailboxes out of the original exchange organization into a new (completely separate) exchange organization?

If that is the case, I would think that you wouldn’t see them in the global address list because that would only dynamically contain the people, contacts, and distribution lists in your current organization and forest. You could probably create custom recipients for each of these users– I would suggest using a script to do so though.
