i think it shld b as *YES.
What is the value now?
i can able to login more than one device
Please clarify.
The LMTDEVSSN(*YES) setting means that you can’t have multiple concurrent sessions. It does not mean you can’t use more than just one device.
So, please describe the exact situation. It’s not clear what you are seeing.

I would have to see it in order to add anything. Something is wrong.
the user is in grp prf to
Group membership shouldn’t matter.

guys jst now i changed the Group profile as *NONE for the user, now its working, so even though we have changed the LMTDEVSSN(*NO), we should check group profile aslo
jst now i changed the Group profile as *NONE for the user, now its working,
I can put a user into a *SECOFR group with all special authorities, and LMTDEVSSN(*YES) continues to work as expected. The group shouldn’t matter.
user can able do another login
Users can do additional logons when LMTDEVSSN(*YES) is specified. But not from multiple devices concurrently. The user should be restricted to sessions from a single device at a given time. For example, a user can still use SystemRequest to start a secondary job from the same device. The user is simply limited to using just the one currently used device for sessions.
What exactly are trying to do? What do need to accomplish?
