User prompted for AS/400 log on when using Excel Add-in to upload data.
I have users that are uploading data to the AS/400 (V6R1) using the Excel Add-in. One user gets a log on pop up window each time she initiates the data transfer. Others in her same group do not. Where would I go to turn this off? She is logged on an AS/400 session and it is still prompting for a log on again.

Software/Hardware used:
Client Access, Excel 2010 iSeries 400 O/S V6R1

She is logged on an AS/400 session…

If that means she is logged on to a telnet session, then it probably has no relationship to the Excel logon pop-up.

First thing to verify is whether or not there is an exact match between her Windows and AS/400 user IDs and passwords. If they are not exactly the same, then ask those who receive no pop-up if they match both user IDs and passwords. (Don’t ask for passwords; just ask if they match.)

Post back here if there is no pattern to the matched/unmatched combinations.

Do all of the users define their connections through iSeries Navigator?
