If the account is *DISABLED. The user will just not be able to login. It does not remove object rights, and you can still add object authorities to the user profile.
=============
Hi,
Just an extra note - a user profile is often disabled because of invalid sign-on attempts. If a user tries to sign-on with an invalid password more than the number of times specified in the system value QMAXSIGN then the action in system value QMAXSGNACN is carried out.
Regards,
Martin Gilbert.

If you live outside the United States, by submitting your email address you consent to having your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.
What happens or does not happen when a user profile is changed to a status of *DISABLED.
Is it that the profile can no longer signon. Does the profile loose any object rights? Can the profile still have objects created with the *DISABLED profile as the object owner?

It soundslike you are talking about active directory accounts, but you still have not verified this is the case. Please clarify. Thanks.
*DISABLED tells me it is an AS400 account.
