If you are using a locking twinax-attached terminal and you lock the terminal every time you leave your office (lunch, coffee breaks, meetings in other offices or any other reason), then it&#039;s only a minor security risk.

But if you are using terminal emulator software on a network-attached PC, then it&#039;s almost trivial to grab your password plus your profile. It doesn&#039;t matter if your door is locked or not.

You shouldn&#039;t be logging in through a green-screen signon panel at all in that case. At a minimum, you should be logging in through a network authentication process and using BypassSignon for the terminal emulation connection.
