 use of cisco certifications in telecom industry

dear sir/madam,

                      Iam currently working in a leading telecom operator in india (AIRTEL) for the last 6 months.i have done my graduation in electronics and communication engineering.i got experiance in sdh optical networks connection and maintanence(muxes of alcatel,nortel,eci),

                  what i want to know is that which of the cisco certification will be more suitable for my career advancing or else is there any certification is issued by the above mentioned vendors alcatel,nortel,eci related to telecom,

                 i have a huge doubt in my mind that is what shall i do to learn things related to my career with some valuable certification which will let to me to advance as well as earn more in the field.
