Hi, I know the way to download data from as400 to excel 2007. It can be done by using Data connection wizard or Microsoft query. However, when using (1) Data connection wizard, i don't know which kind of database i should choose. ODBC DSN or Other / advanced ? after choosing the kind of database, how can I know the name of the database I need to choose? (2) when using Microsoft query, which driver I should choose?
thanks

If you have Client Access why not use Excel Addins that setup Icons in Excel to bring up a wizard in Excel to download to or from the Iseries. Can be saved fo subsequent downloads.
With Excel 2007 need PTF SI26879 for 5722XE1 IF ON v5r4
