Check the iSeries Access version on the PC. Also check that &quot;Transform Print data to ASCII on iSeries&quot; is selected and the make and model hase been selected.
Sounds like the system is not sure the printer session is ready or something.

		<description><![CDATA[Not sure why the spool file goes on hold but it could be because it&#039;s still spooling.    Also, printer emulation uses the printer attached on your PC, so after spooling the file on the the AS/400  it will need take additional time to do the same on your PC (you can watch the progress by opening your Printers and Faxes window).  Also, if you have a large spool file it will take WAY longer to spool on the PC compared to the AS/400.    You can&#039;t even come close to the speed of printing directly off the LAN.]]></description>
