I am looking for a flash drive that will support Windows 98 thru Vista. On some devices they say a driver is needed for Windows 98. Where do I find one of those. Do any devices have all the drivers needed

There are literally thousands of USB flash drives on the market today. When you look at the boxes at the store they should say which OSs they are compatible with. Most of the drives will come with a CD with drivers for OSs which don’t have builtin drivers.

Your USB drive limitation deals more with the OS aspect than any particular USB Drive. This KB article explains it in detail, and also has a few links you may find helpful.
Good Luck!

If you are using an old version of flash drive, you might need to install its driver to another operating system. However, most of the time, companies make it easier for you to plug and play the device without the need to install any driver software.
