It's hard to tell what you're looking for. Here are three URL examples:
    • ftp://asmith@ftp.facebook.com
    • mailto:bob@stumbleupon.com
    • http://www.google.com
Now, those are examples rather than formats. It's not clear how you'd want to see a 'generic format' for particular domains. Maybe something like:
    • scheme://node.facebook.com:port/path?query_string#fragment_id
    • scheme://node.stumbleupon.com:port/path?query_string#fragment_id
    • scheme://node.google.com:port/path?query_string#fragment_id
But I'm not sure how that can help you.
    .
    Tom

Hi Tom, What I need to do is to setup social media websites to show my posts on the websites I select. In WordPress, I need to provide the URL for each website I am selection, e.g., Facebook, Tumblr, StumbleUpon, etc. I am not sure what the URL content should be. Is it my profile information on each site, which means I have to register on each site and then go to my profile, or is it something else? G
