I'm a network admin for a K-12 district in New Jersey. I was wondering what some other districts across the US are using for a URL/Content filter solution. We currently have Websense 5.5 running onbox with a Cisco Content Engine and are looking at other alternatives.

There are lots of oldies but goodies but also check out blueprintdata.com and http://www.iphantom.com – I haven’t used them but they look intriguing. And don’t forget to read the reviews of content filtering systems in the trade rags (Information Security Mag, SC Mag, PC Mag, etc.)
