 Urgent!!!!!!! Failed drive…..
Hi, I have a Raid Raidtec 3104 model that incloude one logical drive with Raid5 level.It was attached to a HP DL380G4 with Win server 2k sp4. By default in the "View and edit Drives" menu status of chanel2-id4 and channel2-id5 is 'Used DRV' !!!!??? In the "View and edit logical Drives -> View Scsi Drives" the status of channel2-id5 is 'Bad'!!!!??? What's the meaning of 'Used DRV'? What's the meaning of 'Used Bad'? What I should do now!!?? All of my data is on this Raid ofcource I took a backup!!! I'm so worry!!! Could you please help me!!??? Thank you. ---- Regards Mahnaz

Used Drv means the SCSI channel 4 and 5 connected by your Hard drive Used bad is to let you know that the harddisk attach to this drive is either damage o what. you try to connect your "bad" hard dirve to another PC and see it really break down o just system faulty report it. it also maybe your specific port of your scsi card or scsi cable got problem, you need to double check it. hope this will help
