We have SQL Server 2000 SP2 on Windows Server 2003. My database cannot be upgraded beyond SP2, is there anything that I can do to make it "work"?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

If your vendor says that it can’t be upgraded beyond SP2 I’d ask them why. SP3 is pretty much the standard SP to support as SP3 includes the code which prevents the SQL Slammer worm. I’d also ask them why they are forcing you to use tech that is two generations old and 7+ years out of date.

There shouldn’t be anything in SP3 or SP4 which would prevent the application from working.
