Can a SAVLIB on a 720 v4r5 and a RSTLIB on an I5 520 v5r4 be accomplished, or do we have to upgrade to v5r2 and then to v5r4?

User libraries saved with SAVLIB should restore fine. If user profiles are successfully restored first, then ownership and other authority elements should also restore; but I haven't specifically seen that jump being done, so there might be quirks. The libraries themselves (and their contents) shouldn't be a problem. Avoid restoring QGPL and QUSRSYS libraries (as well as any IBM library). Any user objects needed from those libraries should be restored with RSTOBJ. . Tom
