    Assuming you mean the T42 laptop from almost eight years ago, I'm pretty sure it can hold 2GB of ram. I don't know if that's one 2GB chip or two 1GB chips. If you search, you can probably find someone who still has them available. -- Tom

    Just a heads up...The older the memory it's usually more expensive as it come down to supply and demand. You may have a hard time finding it. Just a a heads up my mom was looking to upgrade here memory and she ended up getting a new PC for just the memory upgrade cost of her old system.
