I used the me requery in the lost focus event for the ([Key Contl_Num]) field, and it would not let me off that field when I tabbed. What happens when I hit "F9" after updating the ([Key Contl_Num]) field, the ([Key Contl_Num]) field in all the tabs are updated, but the numbers are re-arranged to descending.
When I enter the ([Key Contl_Num]) and go off the sub form and go to the top of the main form and page down and back up again, the ([Key Contl_Num]) in all the tabs are updated and the number remains in an ascending order.
My main goal is to automate the later, where all the tabs are updated with that ([Key Contl_Num]) and the numbers remain in ascending order.

Thanks
