That is, Microsoft doesn&#039;t make alternative drivers available that they have compiled to run on the AS/400 series of systems.

The probable direction will be to have your RPG call Java procedures that can use the &lt;a href=&quot;http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/aa937724&quot;&gt;Microsoft JDBC Driver for SQL Server&lt;/a&gt;. I&#039;m not aware of any other driver that Microsoft makes available nowadays, though they might have an alternative at a significant cost.
