Unread messages in BlackBerry Outlook
How come messages read using a BlackBerry on a BES go unread in Outlook full client?

Its due to the BES having access and syncing your mailbox, if using a BIS version of the software there are essentially two mailboxes so the read mail isnt updated to the blackberry if you read it in outlook.
