 Unicode on AS/400 RPGLE
AS/400, CCSID, JDE, RPGLE, Unicode
We are upgrading to 9.0 JD Edwards where the unicode tables have CCSID = 13488; I still need them to work with legacy files, CCSID = 37. How can I get these 2 types of tables to interact within RPGLE (V6R1M0).

AS/400 V6R1M0, JDE 9.0

You shouldn’t have to “do” anything other than normal programming. That is, what problems are you running into?

If your tables have correct definitions and your jobs run under a proper job CCSID, most things should work.

Please define what you mean by “work with legacy files”. It’s currently too broad of a question to help you out, so some specific examples would help us help you.
