I've encountered a really peculiar problem...
Background: We're running an exchange server 2003, all clients use Outlook2003.
Using the AD(2003) I've change a user details and email from dorothy to sigalit. The only things that I've change are her name, display name and email adrs.
Few minutes after, I was asked to return the user's previous details, and so I did.
However, the users details did change, yet when she sent a message - the recipient got it from the mailbox "Sigalit" despite the fact that I've restored the previous details. While checking the box's status on the exchange server, I've found out the name of the mailbox had not changed back.
So, we've created a new mailbox, and moving all of her items from the old mailbox to the new one, and the problem was solved.
nonetheless, ALL OF HER calendar items (meetings) are unchangeable - the originator of those items is Dorothy but she cant change them or update them. The server does not recognize her as the originator (or owner?) of those item.
We're talking about hundreds of meetings. Is there a way to set a user as an originator to "orphan meetings".
Thanks in advance,
