I am unable to determine why user 1 on our network is unable to share user 2's calendar.  User 1 is able to share all other user's calendars and user 2's calendar can be shared by all other users.  We are running Exhange 2003.  User 1 is running Office 2003 and user 2 is running Office 2007.  All other users are running Office 2003.

Software/Hardware used:
Exchange 2003, Office 2003, Office 2007

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Please provide the details on how the calendar was shared. Was delegation used or permissions on the calendar itself? When you say shared, is user 1 trying to put user 2′s calendar on their folder list or just view it in their own calendar? Check the 2007 user’s permissions and make sure they did not grant permissions that the 2003 user will not be able to see. Select just the permission level and nothing else. One user of 2007 granted rights the 2003 user could not see in our organization and the 2003 user only saw a blank calendar with nothing on it until this was changed. More details are needed. Thanks!

User 2 sent an invitation from Outlook to share the calendar, with Reviewer permission level. User 1 then tried to open the shared calendar in her Outlook calendar by selecting user 1's name which resulted in a message saying that user 2 did not have an Exchange mailbox (although other users were able to access user 2's calendar) and user 2 does have an Exchange mailbox.

I may suggest to try a free Add-in that synchronises Outlook calendar between users working in a local network. So no Exchange Server is required and people can view and share even several calendars at once.
