unable to see new folder in outlook when in cache mode

We have a mailbox which is shared and many users have access to this mailbox, the problem when the user has a cache mode in outlook and creates a folder in this mailbox it doesn't appear and user have to unmount the mailbox and close the outlook and remount the mailbox and then you can see the mailbox.

exchange 2007, outlook 2007, 2003

It is because in cache mode, the mailbox is not online. So of course no one will see the folder until the mailbox is back online. That’s why a lot of enterprises went to cache mode in the event the server goes down, Outlook will still stay up and running and you can write your emails, you just cannot send them. When they were not in the cache mode, when the server went down, Outlook went down and it was a pain, hence the decision to go to cache mode.
