Unable to enable option for showing hidden files
Hidden files, Show hidden files and folders, folder options
I have not seen my hidden files. When i go in tools and folder option and tick show hidden files and then apply but after also i didnt see my files and automatically the tick is hidden files so please give me answer immediately.

I also have the same problem, i try a long time but no use ,after format the system it shows the hidden files

check local security policy
are you a administrator on the machine?

What operating system? ie XP Professsional, XP Home, Vista Business, etc.
Is the system in an AD domain? If so, ask you computer administrator for assistance.

One item this can come from is a malware infection. The malware sets various policies to prevent you from detecting/ removing the malware.
