 Unable to login with root credential in physical server
Anish (VPS), Hyper-V Physical Server, Physical Server, VPS
I have a physical server in which two VPS servers are present. Iam now not able to login into one of the VPS server with the rrot credentials ! Is there any way to reset the password so as to access the VPS ? I tried contacting the providers for changing the root password but had to declinwe the offer as they offered to reset the password of physical server and not the VPS server in it.

U may try to enable SSH to get login with root credentials

As a matter of course, root login via SSH may (*should*) be disabled.

@Honeypots

Did you ever have root access to these VPS? If so, then by what means were you logging in as root?
