		<description><![CDATA[Actually, as I re-read your original question, I kind of doubt either Rechil&#039;s answer or mine is the solution. I recommend a full uninstall, reboot, examination of registry to ensure that Notes is gone, then re-install. Make a Backup copy of your data and noets.ini beforehand, but don&#039;t move it out of place. The uninstall should not touch it and the re-install should have no problems with it being in place already.

		<description><![CDATA[I don&#039;t remember my exact error, but the first time I installed R8.0.1 on my machine, I had a previous install of Rational Application Developer 6 that also ran in the Eclipse client. Somehow the two were conflicting. I no longer needed RAD, so uninstalled and re-installed R8. This solved the issue. Because you said you have all three Notes clients, I wonder if you also have other Eclipse-based applications that would conflict. Hope this helps in case Rechil&#039;s entry is not the answer.]]></description>
