Hi,
I have recently downloaded the software for an HP printer/scanner from the HP website.
My browser is Firefox v 1.5.0.6.
During the download, I lost my internet connection, and the download failed, it did this a few times, and each time it failed, a file called rw2_021_w02_enu.exe was put onto my desktop.
When I try and delete this file, I get an error message telling me that it is in use.
I have tried restarting in safe mode, and logging on as the Administrator, but I still get the same error message.
Any ideas?

Use msconfig.
Go to start – run – and type in msconfig in the little box that appears on the bottom left of your screen.
Hit OK.
When msconfig opens, make sure that selective start-up is selected and process system ini and process win ini are selected as well as use original boot ini.
Restart the PC when it asks. agree to the warning prompts and tell it not to restart the pc when it comes back up.
Delete your file and restart the pc.
when msconfig comes up this time, tell it to exit without restart.
The pc will be back to normal restart and the file should be gone.
I hope this helps. Need more info on this procedure, email me direct.
