Answer Wiki:
Connecting to wireless network is not always the same. There are many variables, for example: Wireless type (802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n) and encryption type (WEP, WPA, WPA-2, etc) are two of the biggest. This begs a few questions: Do you know, first, the SSID of the wireless network you are trying to connect to? Also, do you know the encryption type AND network key? Lastly, are you sure your wireless cards supports their wireless type? Most likely 802.11g or 802.11n.
