 TYPE MISMATCH ERROR IN OUTLOOK WEB ACCESS FOR EXCHANGE SERVER 2003
I receive a Type mismatch error when attempting the reply to or forward a message in OWA, and the only thing that opens is a blank box. The error message reads as follows: Problems with this Web page might prevent it from being displayed properly or functioning properly. In the future, you can display this message by double-clicking the warning icon displayed in the status bar. Details: Line: 187 Char: 4 Error: Type mismatch Code: 0 All other function in OWA appear to operate correctly. I'm using IE 7.0 on Windows Vista Premium.

Try "Reset Internet Explorer Settings" under <b>Internet Options</b> > <b>Advanced</b> I had the same problem with OWA on a particular machine running Win XP SP3 with IE7.0. - This cleared the problem. Seems to be occuring due to some settings which add-ons / plugins bring in. Rgds R B

Good tip Novell. Truedawg, look for installed toolbars. They can cause lots of issues. First thing I do with a problem pc is uninstall all toolbars. The users with the most problems typically have three or more installed on their browser!
