Turned PC into a hotspot

So basically my dad installed an app called meet circle which basically controls which device gets Wi-Fi and could "pause" the device which would prevent the device from getting Wi-Fi. I finally found a way around the app and used some router hotspot website to help my windows pc set up a Wi-Fi hotspot to my iPhone. The hotspot worked and I am using the Wi-Fi from the new network I made. My question is: Is there any way our Wi-Fi provider could charge more or notify my dad that there is a new hotspot network?

It depends on where the Wi-Fi is getting it’s source from. If you are getting the source from a cell provider the you bill may go up depending on your plan. If you have a Wi-Fi set up off a cable internet connection maybe not. You may notice a slow down for excessive streaming and downloads.

That may be. It depends on Wi-Fi provider's business policy. It is not possible to say anything accurate. But in genera, it should be charged by the provider. Now you can ask your provider to clear your doubts.

I noticed some of this same issue, with some of the cable providers, and so I refused to use the provided WiFi routers provided by them. I am using DSL with a WiFi router also which I also turned off. I have two WiFi hotspots in my Network at home, and both of the them are internal to my own network but both of them give me access to the internet. Note: I went this route because I choose not to pay for their provided service and I saw it as way to save me money. The security is set up on both of them In effect, I became a WiFi Provider and not someone that was going to rip me off.
