 Troubleshooting database
hi i have been doing a Comptia A+/N+ couse for a while now and i have all ready started to fix pc for people and now have lots of paper with problems and solutions on them, so im starting to carry folders around, so can any one tell me if there is any softwere-based documentation programs i can use to record troubleshooting problems and solutions. or if any one has any suggestions of any other way to document the info, or database template i can use, the only database i have is openoffice.org 2.4 but a'm still learning to use openoffice

You could set up a no install database such as <a href="http://portableapps.com/apps/office/openoffice_portable">Portable Open Office</a> on a USB drive, then use the BASE program (which is similar to MS Office Access) to organize all of your written notes. The initial set up will take some time, but after that maintaining you files should not be a problem, in addition they will be easy to back up and protect.
