I'm trying to set up auto-forwarding in ADUC in Exchange 2003. I go to Exchange General, Delivery Options, Forwarding Address, and click Modify. Under Select Recipient, the object types are "User or Other object". Even if I click the Object Types button, the only options are User and Other. It is filtering out "Contacts". How do I get it to also show Contacts?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Have you tried – in the same dialogue – to click Advanced and then Find Now?
In my experience the search result will include contacts as well.

I've tried that. Even if I put in a search for "J*", it displays all the user objects that begin with J, but none of the contact objects. I dealt with the same issue a couple of years ago on this same Exchange system, and found an article on editing *something* to add "Contacts" as a filter in that window, and I can not for the life of me remember what it was or where I found it. The original Exchange server was retired and a new one brought into the system to replace it, and this same issue has come back again. I'm assuming that means it has something to do with the ADUC settings on the server itself. Any other ideas would be appreciated.
