 Trouble shooting of WAN/LAN circuits
Cabling, Hubs, LAN, Routers, WAN
I am working on a WAN/LAN circuit that includes core router, core switch, distribution switches, VLAN and access switches and hosts. What are the steps or commands I have to use to shut down or unshut a port on the access switch after telneting and accessing the core router or switch?

Sorry to sound like a smart-ass (I am one) but in all seriousness, you've not told us the make (guessing cisco), model or revision level of any of your equipment, not to mention whether or not your core router and switch occupy the same box or not (blade). Please write back with more detail. Bob
