		<description><![CDATA[10g has a new scheduling feature which is just so much better than the DBMS_JOB package that was used from 8.0.5, as from what I understand of your question, you want something that will wake up at the same time every day and perform some pl/sql routine that checks the date and then invokes another routine or self-contained procedure dependent on the date or whatever criteria you set.
