Answer Wiki:
We have been using Commontime mNotes with great success on the Treo. We use a mNotes enabled server and then the mNotes client software is loaded on the PC. No problems syncing through the PC or via the wireless internet connection through Cingular Erik Ostly Ostly Consulting Group

If you pick up your Treo from Cingular they have a product call xress mail we have been using the personal addition in a trial for a few months and it works well. We are considering going with their Server version soon.

We are currently using Blackberry (BES) we are looking for an alternative. We have many people who travel and need access to their Lotus Notes 24X7. Right now we did not want to invest in another server for mNotes as we are just evaluating other options. The individual nmotes is just loaded on the person’s pc and pushes email wirelessly to the PDA is that correct. We are running Domino off of an AS/400.

We are using the Treos with Sprint as our carrier and CommonTime as the transport software. The only issue we have noticed has been the periodic occurance of random meetings or appointments appearing in the calendar and originating from the CommonTime server.

We use easysync or intellisync for the users to sync. It requires a descktop but that hasn’t been a problem. The users like the choice of what gets synced
