transferring data from iSeries to Excel 2007


iSeries Access, Excel 2007, iSeries database

Using the Excel 2007 add-in for the iSeries data transfer, is there a way to transfer into the spreadsheet more then 65,000 rows?

Well, seeing that Excel has a row limitation of 65536... The only way to download more rows than that would be to insert them into Access! Or ask Microsoft to expand the Excel row limitation.

I believe Excel 2007 doesn’t have the row limitation anymore.

The limitation seems to be on iSeries transfer side.. It will not import all rows.
