I am planning to transfer our Domino Server 6.5 under Win2K Server into a new server under 2K3 Server at the same version of Domino 6.5. I already back it up all my users database, the notes.ini and other applications. Anyone could give me an advice on what would be the next step? After I install the Domino 6.5 on the new server. Thank you in advance... rick

Hi,

Please copy and paste the Lotus folder (from D: drive) to the new server. Before that you need to transfer the SSL certificate from old server to the new server.

Once lotus folder is copied, then rename the folder to somethign else and install Lotus Domino.

Do not go for configuration.. you can see Lotus folder in D: drive and please replace it with the folder whcih was copied from your old server earlier.

Then replace notes.ini and then start Domino service, it shud work fine.
