Hi, I have a question; we are planning to move our PR and DR to different location from existing one. Now on current location we have V5R4 and we are moving on V6R1 on new location where will have different network segment. We can’t keep down PR for more than 5-6 hrs. max. So what would be best approach to accomplish this transition? One approach is coming in my mind; I’m not sure whether it’s right or wrong. Install V6R1 on new DR box then restore data backup on new DR server, configure and start replication from existing PR to new DR box. In parallel build new PR box as well and start another line from new DR to new PR. Once both the machines (existing PR and new DR) sync and no leg then perform roll swap stop current PR and start new DR to serve as a PR and once new DR and new PR sync again switch from DR to PR.
