 The “noapic” error after RHEL5 installed
Linux desktops, noAPIC, Red Hat Enteprise Linux 5.0, RHEL5
My system was high configure with 250GB sata HDD,AMD4600 Proccessor, ASUS Motherboard with inbuilt 256 MBPS grafics card, 2GB of RAM Also.. i have 'noapic' errer on RHEL5 installed. After install linux with linux noapic option', whole instolation complete successfully, after reboot the system all services start properly but not open the username and password screen to login in RHEL5.At this system Windows XP was also installed and its working properly what was the problem and how to solve this problem. Use ur cd and go upto repairing screen select Boot from Installed System and it'll automatically leads u to the graphics login screen.
