Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

It could be realted to the JDK version, and free memory available .

Try the solution somebody provided in <a href=”http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=855438&start=15&tstart=0″>this Oracle forum</a>:

1. Clean install of JDev Studio 11.1.1.0.0 from the Oracle download, BUT….
2. … I chose “Custom” install, then…
3. … I de-selected the “bundled JDK” and instead selected the Sun JDK 1.6.0.11 already installed on my machine.
4. Accept all the other defaults and complete the installation.

As described in the <a href=”http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/htdocs/11g/knownissues.html#gi3″>JDeveloper 11g Release Notes </a>:

Set an environment variable called EXTRA_JAVA_PROPERTIES with the value:

On Linux
setenv EXTRA_JAVA_PROPERTIES “-Xms512m -Xmx512m”

On Windows
set EXTRA_JAVA_PROPERTIES=”-Xms512m -Xmx512m”

Hope this helps.
