text print in w-2008-Server
Brand new Win 2008 Server. Set up a text printer (Generic/Text Only) MY_TXT and shared it as MY_PRINT. Prints test page ok. Installed application which prints by using file output to \.MY_PRINT but it doesn't print. Error is Error 2 The system cannot find the file specified \DELL_SERVERMY_PRINT. Just to confirm, it doesn't appear in the print queue for the printer. This app has worked perfectly in this way from w95 through NT, w2k, and XP. Have tried every permutation of printer/share name, have tried all the appropriate print processor settings (RAW/FF./FF../TEXT).
