Tom,
The system will always have a green screen version because of the work environment the system is used.
To expand a little : We use a text editor to aid entry for Item Description, Order Line Text, etc etc. The text files have a 70a field for the actual text, Text Line Number plus key fields depending on use (ie: ITEM, Order No, Line No. etc)
So we are looking for a more sophistaicated Text Editor (word Processor) that will aid text entry on green screen and write to the DB2 files.

Hope that clarifies my question.

It needs to run on green screen initially.

The key word seems to be "initially". Can you show us the object description of one of your documents?
