Terminal Session DST

A particular client's remote terminal session is off by an hour. Her local machine is DST patched and shows the correct time. My terminal server is DST patched and shows the correct time. I've logged in using her credential's from inside the network, and all is well, so it's not the profile. No one else is having a problem with terminal sessions. Anybody have any other ideas?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Some questions:
1) Are you in the same time zone?

2) In which direction (forward or backward) is the error?

3) Where does (or do) the discrepancy show up? (file time stamps, transaction-unique time stamps, etc.)

4) Is the time discrepancy tied to any particular application that you can identify?

5) Are there ANY apps (legitimate or otherwise) on her workstation that could account for this? Use autoruns (from Sysinternals – Now part of Microsoft Technet) to account for all of them – and eliminate them one at a time until you find the culprit.

Write back and let us know. The more info we have, the better. And… you may well answer your own question in the process of gathering information.

    1) Yes, we are all (term server included) in the CST time zone. 2) The time shows an hour earlier than it should be (ie. At 10:30, it shows 9:30) 3) & 4) The system clock and Outlook calendar seem to be the only items effected. 5) I'll give autoruns a try and let you know what we come up with. Thanks!
