Hi,
We recently activated TS license server and installed win2003 unlimited CAL on one of our domain controller. Activation and installation was successful. But
1. When I run the TS license manager on the domain controller (license server) itself, I get an error message "No terminal server license server is available in the current domain or
workgroup. To connect to another license server, click Action, click
Connect, and then type the server name". When I manually connect by rightclicking on all servers and specify the server name, it is fine. Is there a configuration missing on the license server? After that, i expand the server and see the win2k3 license installed but no terminal servers have been issued with a license.

2. When I run the TS license manager on all my terminal servers,I get the same error message. But when connected manually, the server name is displyed with a yellow query and activation status "unknown" . What have I done wrong? Please help. All my terminal servers grace period will expire in another couple of days

ok...let me ask one basic question....have you purchased the licenses? Once valid licenses have been determined and linked, they should remain valid.

More info please.

Yes, we purchased a volume license which is a total of 9999 clients. Activation and instalation of licensing were successful

Hi,

i do have question:

1> Have you purchased TS server license ?
2> and as well as TS CAls ?

I think you running with temporary license which is vaild only for 120 days ?

please check this things and let me know ?
