Does anybody know of a utility to identify scheduled tasks by specific user that could be running on the entire domain?? Have a user who is consistently getting locked out each day, their mappings check out but somewhere something is using their account credentials. Password has changed hence the problem arising now. Cheers Jo

Event logs – Your DC event log for security should give you the time and source of the offense that locks them out.

That said, we have seen this occur from another cause – ‘Synchronization’. We have users with roaming profiles and DFS and if they forget to clear ‘Sync’ on the workstation when they are finished, every restart trips their credentials. The local user just wants to shutdown/restart and cancels the ‘sync’ which the DC counts as a failed logon.

Finding a sheduled task from one of many workstations is complicated. Good luck.

Been through all security events on our DC's and nothing, but thinking about this it could be remote connection to a machine without logging off. I know this has happened before and is cleared when the server with the connection is rebooted but having over 45 servers this is obviously a problem. Does anybody know of a way to identify remote active connections without rebooting?
