I need to share Tape Volumes between two iSeries systems,Both systems were connected through BRMS Network.How od i accompalish this ?

    As far as I know BRMS will not let you do that. If there is a way I would like to know because I have been looking for that possibility as well.

    After a little research ....I made it.. Just put the required servers in BRMS Network and make sure the Category is same and Shared Media Option should be *YES in media Class..

    Qmaster, by sharing tape volumes did you mean that all volumes are in one pool and all systems in the network can draw from that pool as long as the volumes are not in use by another system ? I was looking for a way to have system a save lib a on volume a and system B save lib B on the same volume A (appended to the end).

    What I was referring to is that on one volume, different saves are stored. In BRMS you would use a parameter in the Control Group 'APPEND *YES so the Saves of that control group would be added to an active volume.
