Archiving Calenadar in Lotus Notes

I have Lotus Notes 6.5.1 with Windows XP Pro. When I archive my mail, calendar entries disappear and I cannot find them in the archive. How do I ensure that the calendar entries are being archived and how can I find them in the archive?

Active directory user profile issue.

I'm running active directory on 2003 servers with XP professional clients. When a user has any file open for editing and someone else tries to access that same file, they receive a notice that the file is locked by "profile" instead of the actual user that has it locked. What could cause this?
