Moving .XLS from a folder on an as400 to a shared folder on a network

I have an excell spread sheet generated from Sequel, I can get it ot a folder on the 400 but would like it get it to a shared folder on my network. I have tried to copy it FTP it and nothing seems to work.

I created a macro and it is saved in personal.xls. How can I make this macro available to other users? I want to be able to give them the ability to run the macro – they do not need to modify it.

I need a little help! Is there anything out there that I can incorporate into a CL program that will download a database file to Excel with an xls extension so no further converting is necessary. I tried the CVTPFXLS but get Pointer not set for location referenced.

CPYTOPCD as an XLS

I am using CPYTOPCD and emailing the resulting *.csv and *.txt files successfully.

However, I am now trying to send the data as an XLS. Although the file is sent, the data does not appear in the different cells as I would expect, the whole string (although comma delimited) appears a whole string (ie. Dealer Name,Deal Number,Buy/Sell) Do I need to send the data with a special delimter or something?

I have created a New xls in my NSF (above specified in title). Now I want to extract that object from the Notes Document. How can I do this. I have used NSFItemInfo and NSFItemInfoNext with
item_name as $File. Is it Ok or I need another extra information?

after using Excel 2007 for several months with no problem, I had to reformat and reload windows xp professional. then I installed Excel 2007 and now I can’t open the xlsx files created by Excel 2007. I get the error in the above title box. Any help will be welcomed. Gervis.

Can Windows Explorer ‘File Types’ settings be amended by Group Policy?

To enable our reporting software to correctly export to Excel 2007 (WXP SP2 operating system) we need to change the following Windows Explorer ‘File Types’ setting:
Open windows explorer and navigate to the XLS file type and enable the “browse in same window” option, see path:
\Tools\Folder Options\File Types\select XLS file type\select Advanced\enable “Browse in same window”\
Can this be done by group policy ADM template, or does anyone know of a registry key to enable the same key?

DTS error after deleting xls file with script

All,
After I have deleted a xls file using an ActiveX script the DTS Package fails because the file is not there. I then have to go into the properties of the task and go to the destination tab and click the create button. The I have go to the Transformation tab and then run the package for it to complete. How can I get this to complete without having to go into the DTS package and then maunally intervene?
