I set up a software programme on server 2003 and used it on workstation by workgroup set up instead of domain.there seems to be lot of errors coming with use of the software mostly on server,which is non dedicated. Would domain solve this problem?

my lan network is in workgroup.when net sharing connectivity start.my own network mapping drives is dissconnected.when my network is working properly then searching the server i got server with showing workgroup.but when disconnected then search to server .search the server properly. not workgroup it showing webclient network .

Installed server 2003′s SP2 onto an existing 2003 in Dec 2007 Replaced a switch between the server & 10 clients..today Can’t access workgroup computers.. Server has 2 switches on 2 different gig-network cards.. untouched switch/one is good.. can see workgroup pc’s attached to that switch error as noted from client pc not accessing server… GZ [...]
