Submitting AS/400 job on hourly basis

Hi,
i want to add a job that will run a particular command on houly basis.

I would prefer WRKJOBSCDE ( i know) but here schedule time parameter has no “for more values”.

Can any one tell me what shall i do to add a job to run in hourly basis.

WRKJOBSCDE vs SBMJOB

I have a job in the job scheduler that runs at 00:30 everynight. I scheduled another job using SBMJOB to run at 01:00. Both these jobs missed the time because a Backup was running … but when the backup finished I thought the job entry for 00:30 would have kicked off first BUT it did not … the submitted job for 01:00 ran first then the job entry for 00:30 ran second. Why?

We have quit a few jobs in the job scheduler, and it quit difficult to get an overview, when there is room ex. for an extra IPL or some maintenance.

Is there a database behind, so that I can retrieve data to an Excel spreadsheet?
