I have a desktop running Windows xp that has a hard internet connection through a Lynksys router. I have two laptops running Windows 7 that can access the internet, but I also want to be able to send print jobs from laptops to my Dell AIO photo printer which has wireless capability. I have attached the printer by ethernet to the router, but that didn’t do anything. The printer is also hard wired to the desktop by USB. How can I make this work?

I am the IT person for an electric motor repair company. We have several “Core-loss” testers that are used to perform electrical diagnosis of motors. These “Core-loss” testers are console devices that have a parallel printer ouput for printing test results. They are “non-pc” devices.

It would be great if we could get rid of the individual ink-jet printers we have attached to each tester, and send print jobs wirelessly to one of our network printers.

My question is: Is there a device that can be attached to the parallel print ouput of these testers, that would send print jobs wirelessly?

I have been looking all over but can’t seem to find anything like this being available out there. Any advice is truly appreciated!
